Getweys — Industries

Public sector work has a different success measure: whether every citizen can complete the task, on the device they own, in the language they read.

Work we have actually delivered

Getweys has built and maintained public sector platforms including the Pakistan Infrastructure Development Company, the Sindh Solid Waste Management Board and Larkano Municipal Corporation — organisations delivering infrastructure and municipal services at national and city scale.

That work is why we treat this as its own vertical. The constraints are genuinely different from commercial work, and they show up in the first week, not the last.

Accessibility with a number attached

In the public sector, accessibility is a stated standard in the tender, not a nice-to-have. We build to WCAG 2.2 AA, test with actual assistive technology rather than an automated scan alone, and hand over the audit with the site.

That includes the boring parts that automated tools miss: focus order that makes sense, error messages that explain the fix, and forms that can be completed without a mouse.

Built to outlive the contract

Public sector sites are maintained for a decade by teams that change. We build on mainstream, documented technology, avoid dependencies that expire, and hand over source, documentation and a working local environment rather than a login to something only we can operate.

Where an immersive element is warranted — explaining an infrastructure programme the public will never visit, for instance — it is built as an enhancement over a page that works completely without it.

  • 01WCAG 2.2 AA delivery

Built and tested to the standard, with the audit handed over alongside the site.

  • 02Plain-language content

Civic information rewritten so the task can be completed without prior knowledge of the department.

  • 03Low-bandwidth performance

Pages that work on constrained connections and older devices, because that is who needs them most.

  • 04Multi-language support

Content structures for genuine bilingual delivery, including right-to-left where required.

  • 05Complete handover

Source, documentation and a reproducible local environment, so your team is not dependent on us.

  • 06Procurement documentation

Technical responses, accessibility statements and security summaries written for tender requirements.

Accessible, plain-language civic services built to be maintained by in-house teams long after handover.

  • Platforms for the Pakistan Infrastructure Development Company, the Sindh Solid Waste Management Board and Larkano Municipal Corporation, among others. We can walk through scope and outcomes on a call.

  • Yes. We build so it can be deployed to your environment, including on-premise, and we do not require a proprietary platform to keep it running.

  • Sometimes — for explaining an infrastructure programme or a facility the public cannot visit. It is always built as an enhancement over a page that is complete and accessible without it.

Send us the tender requirements or the service that is failing its users. We will tell you what it would take.
